Music Appreciation Assembly
Each week, Mr Hopkin presents an assembly celebrating music and musicians.
For each song we listen to a key lyric and think about, the meaning behind these and what we can learn from them. Across the week, class teachers share the songs with the children again in order to celeberate them and their message.
Over the year we will explore a variety of artists and genres; celebrating artists the children may already know and a few they probably will not. This will help to expand the children's knowledge and maybe help them to find new favourites.
